Private Horsemanship Lessons: A one on one environment where students will be mentored in how to have a working relationship with a horse at Sweet Dreams Farm, as they learn how to build a foundation in natural horsemanship through groundskills and riding. Students will be able to develop a working relationship with a specific horse as they build their foundation of horsemanship, then, once the instructor has been determined that their foundation skills are stable, they will be given the chance to branch out and learn how to interact with horses of differing temperaments and characteristics. The cost of private lessons are $50.00 per 1 ½ hour lesson.
Semi- Private or Group Horsemanship Lessons: This opportunity provides an environment for multiple students (2-4) to learn foundational natural horsemanship skills, through groundskills and riding, as they experience working together with a horse. For the initial portion of the session, students will work in a group to learn the fundamentals with one horse. Once foundational principles are well established, students may begin to work with a horse individually or in pairs, depending on learning style and confidence at the instructors discretion, rotating horses periodically to experience the different temperaments and characteristics of the horses.
